Tutorial: Carbon Fiber Spoiler MINI GP Style for MINI R & F

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Preparing the boot to fitment:
Remove any existing spoiler or wing before installing this product. Carefully clean any surface between spoiler and boot, including the parts hidden behind the glass

Now, place a side mount on each side of the boot at the desired height, mark through the holes on the metal of the boot and prepare for drilling.

At this point, take the side mounts off the boot before drilling

Drill two 9mm holes per side.

Now, use a riveter to put the M6 rivets into the drilled holes and to block them tight.

SPOILER ASSEMBLING:

The side mounts show a bracket in carbon fiber with pre-drilled holes.

Connect one side mount to the wing by inserting the bracket into the wing, use the short screws and screw them through the holes at bottom of the wing but without tightening them completely.

SPOILER FITTING:

Place the previously half-assembled spoiler onto the boot, then complete the spoiler by placing the other side mount on the other side (operation to be done by two persons)

Now, you can tight all the screws, both on the side mounts and under the wing.

Do the same operation on both sides as shown in the pictures: Your spoiler is now fitted. We suggest you to close boot slowly making sure all screws are perfectly tight and side mounts are sking-tight to the boot.

CONGRATULATIONS!! THE SPOILER IS INSTALLED!
